Ashley L. Folio, Esquire has been an associate at the Myers Law Group, LLC since 2012. Her focus is in the area of domestic law, including divorce, custody, support, and adoption. Attorney Folio approaches this area of law with a passion and works hard for her clients to obtain the best possible outcome.
Attorney Folio graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and minors in Law and Legal Studies, Psychology and Art History. While at Penn State, she worked as a mediator at the Office of the Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection. During her summers, she worked as an intern at a general practice firm in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. There she provided support and gained research skills in the areas of family law, real estate and estate planning.
She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2010 from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. While attending law school, she worked as a law clerk for a boutique firm in Pittsburgh, specializing in family law. Attorney Folio was also a judicial intern for The Honorable Kathleen Mulligan of the Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Additionally, she gained family law experience in the Pro Se Assistance Program in Allegheny County, where she drafted motions and pleadings for divorce, custody, and support hearings.
Prior to coming to the Myers Law Group, LLC in 2012, Attorney Folio gained extensive experience in the areas of divorce, custody, and support working as an associate in the family law group for a large firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In addition to being a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, she is also a member of the Federal Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Allegheny County Bar Association, including the ACBA Family Law Section, Juvenile Law Committee, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, and the Young Lawyers Division. Attorney Folio is also a member of the Women's Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania and the Matrimonial Inns of Court.
Outside of work, her interests include spending time with her family, attending Penn State Football games, and training for various half marathons.
